TED Ed Lessons

The CC TED Ed Club Has its Third TED Ed Connect Conference!

Stay tuned! Our next video chat is tentatively scheduled for next week. We might postpone it due to state testing. Nevertheless, we are working on more robotics, as well as continuing our pursuit of excellence in Khan Academy and coding.

The CC TED Ed Club Has its Second TED Ed Connect Conference!

In January, we had our second video conference. This allowed us to practice our presentation skills. This conference helped us overcome our shyness in speaking with various age groups. We discussed our CC robotics demonstration prior to our presentation before the school board. As a result, our presentation was a huge success. TED has provided us with opportunities and skills that were not available in regular classrooms.

The CC 2015 TED ED CLUB Has Its First TED Ed Connect Conference!

On Thursday, October 22, the CC TED Ed club connected with other TED Clubs from around the U.S.A via video chat.  We learned that we are doing just as much, if not more, than some high school clubs. Of course, we have a long way to go to catch up with their achievements in creating a true "TED Talk", that is, speaking for 15 minutes to touch the imaginations of kids around the world. Thanks to Ms. Steph Ng for being a great host.

Do you have what it takes to generate and present great ideas using video? Then submit your application today! This year, we will take 15 people to start. So bring your best ideas about how you would change our school or even THE WORLD!
