Hello Everybody!

What's happening? A flood of emotions poured upon me, entering the classroom for the last time. The walls, painted with our efforts, stared back. Where did it all go? Piece by piece, I started cleaning what we left behind on March 13, 2020. Friday the 13th. At the front of the room, the Olympic bar sat empty, a promise unfullfilled.

Following the three hours of cleaning, I walked over to Mr. Sams room. This was possibly the last time I would see him. What do you say to someone with whom you've worked for 13 years who must leave and never return? As always, Mr. Sams used this
opportunity to demonstrate his generosity. Handing me a large shopping bag, he urged me to continue using technology to show the kids the power of their talent and the promise of their future. Inside the bag? All the OSMOs he bought. I promised to buy him a nice dinner before he left the desert forever.

What's the lesson? Be thankful for those who challenge and assist you in your efforts towards greatness. You never know when they have to leave.

Thanks for listening.
