Hello again 514! What's happening? First, may I say thank you and that I'm grateful for those of you who are writing in the journal. I'm extremely impressed by the depth and feeling in your writing.🏆First rate self expression! If you don't mind, I'll respond here, just generally, so you know I'm reading your entries and to convey my appreciation for your continued effort.
Alisa: I know you're sensitive to what's going on. After all, who was one of the greatest responders to our Junior Great Books readings? AMIRITE? 😀 I hope you're creating in your own journal everyday. Turn your talent and imagination into meaningful passages that can inspire your friends!
Annaly: Hi! I'm doing well, thanks. 😁How about you? Are you pursuing watercolor? I am. First, I watch various "artists" on YouTube for tips, tricks, and hints. Then, I use their methods as faithfully as possible with what supplies I have. Are you still painting and sketching? I hope so. Working with colors keeps a smile on my face.😊 If you don't have any supplies, I can arrange for you to pick up some of the art supplies from school. Finally, please don't worry about Khan Academy. If you can, work at your own pace. Remember the trick? Just say, "start" to yourself and maybe you'll watch an art or history video. Maybe you'll practice something easy like arithmetic as a warmup. Soon, you will find yourself back on the path to achievement. Let me know if you have questions.
Nataly: I'm astonished 😳and impressed by your improved vocabulary and writing structure. Have you been using Quizlet? Equally impressive is how you're finding ways to keep yourself active and engaged. It's so important to exercise to keep your mind sharp and flexible, especially during a quarantine. I often wonder how everybody in class is responding to the decline in PE, along with that decline in creativity and productivity. (Mashup robotics!) How about music? Are you continuing your percussion practice? 🥁
I miss you guys. I'll be on here everyday to make sure you're smiling and making the best of the situation. Maybe, just maybe, Gfuzzy will make a video appearance 🐻! Remember, you can respond directly to me in the journal, or on the blog page.
See you tomorrow! And, as always, I'm right there with you.
