If you're having difficulty with the Khan assignments, watch the videos that are related to the topic. That's what I'm doing. In fact, I have watched one video 3 times. 3 TIMES!!! Did I mention 3 times? (See what I did there?) The point is to learn it. Learning is the single most valuable skill you'll ever have.
Thought I'd write that again. First, it's true. Second, I've spent almost the entire day with Yanshee, I still cannot get it to operate the way I would like to see it operate. Ever feel like you are too smart for your own good? 😆Seriously though, I've studied some amazing videos about where computers and robotics are headed, and I feel just the opposite. The world of technology is accelerating, and we at CVUSD are being left behind. Probably most schools are.
So, think about it. Do you believe we will have more robots in the future? Do you believe they will more advanced than what we have now? While you're making your plans for the future, others are out there making theirs. As they used to say in the military, "The enemy gets a vote." What are other countries, other schools, other kids working on to bring about their vision of the future?
I'm not saying you have to be a roboticist, but I am asking you to be more aware of what others are creating, exploring, and producing. As Neil deGrasse Tyson says, "I'm just saying."
Thanks for reading. Please continue to write and perform at least basic math to keep your skills sharp.
