Hello Again Everyone!
What's happening? Happy Friday! 🏋️♀️ Friday is a lifting day. Clean deadlifts and single leg RDLs. Anybody else out there still getting after it? Gilbert told me he performs resistance training in the morning. Outstanding! Exercise, especially resistance training will make you feel better.
Anybody interested in training? Supposedly there will be no sports for high school in the Fall season. As painful as that is, it's no reason to not be improving your fitness. Fitness conquers numerous issues. Beyond fitness is mental health. I'm concerned that some of you feel a sense of hopelessness. That's normal. Nevertheless, I had hoped you learned to move beyond the normal. If you feel like this is getting the better of you, please write to me and vent (complain). I will listen. I really will.
Also, you are allowed to complain. You're smart enough to know you might feel better if you open up about what's bothering you. Following that, action remains a wonderful remedy. Reading is action. Working out is action. Learning a musical instrument, or learning to read music is action. For me, it's lifting, painting, reading, and math. It's not easy, but that's what keeps me moving forward, just like Rocky said. Keep moving forward.
Really miss your sense of humor, effort, energy, and creativity. Remember, the journal is open for venting if you need it. See you Monday!
