Hello 514!
Today was supposed to be the last day of Spring Break. Obviously, things have changed. Your situation has changed. My question is, how have you changed? Are you feeling down, upset, anxious? Do yourself a favor, watch today's Khan assignment on Arts and humanitiesStorytellingImagineering in a BoxLesson 1: Creating worlds
After watching, take time to reflect. The best thing you can do is write your reflection. If you'd like, you can post your reflection in the journal (private), or in the comments below (public). Remember what the Imagineers said, you're working on your own theme, your own intrinsic value.
Which brings us to what I've said all year long, school is a concept for the past. The future begs us to use the real and virtual worlds to explore our inner world, our intrinsic value. Ironically, the ancient Greeks understood this, especially Socrates, when he said, "Know thyself." Know your intrinsic value. How? Through effort. Keep trying. Make the effort. You'll come out of this situation stronger, smarter, wiser, and better prepared for what the future holds.
Or, you won't.
So, the next time you feel like giving up, hit me up and I'll help you get your mind right, because attitude is everything. Right, Andrew? 😁
